THE PUBLIC DOMAIN UPDATE

Hello everyone, I have a special announcement to make, Starting today, 11/8/2024, I am officially placing everything Alter-snort wise, into....

 THE PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!!!!

You heard me loud and clear, CC0, public domain dedication coming your way! 

What does this mean for alter-snort?

 A few things actually, You, will be able to modify, remix, and even sell things relating to MY GAME, without MY PERMISSION! 

Why did I do this? 

Quite simple, I'm no longer interested in developing for this game anymore, I MAY or MAY NOT still have plans for future games, alter-snort related or not. 

Here is a list of the things you can use from alter-snort:

 - Graphics and sprites 

- Most sounds (excluding ones taken from libraries, and or ccby)

 - The Soundtrack (the midis I originally made for the game) 

- Characters, Story Arc, Map Layouts 

And as a bonus everything from the goodies folder, and the 11-06 build is also cc0

 All that I ask for in return, is credit, even though you don't even need to give me it, but it would be nice.

In conclusion, this has been a mostly hard decision, letting a game I worked hard on go, but I think it will be worth it for people who have a crazy imagination.

 So go on, make your own Alter-snort Stories, make your Alter-snort dating sim, make your Alter-snort Horror slasher flicks,

 I'm not stopping you!
